Jump into a 1930s flying classic and experience the start of a WWII fighter pilot's journey high above the English countryside with this 30 minute Tiger Moth Trial Lesson. The de Havilland Tiger Moth was the ideal training aircraft for budding RAF pilots, forgiving in the early stages of flight while requiring skill and concentration to get the most out of the aircraft. As you'll be sitting in an open cockpit you'll feel the wind through your hair as you soar over the beautiful English countryside, enjoying the sights and sounds from the cockpit of your magnificent flying machine. You'll be fully kitted out in a vintage WWII-style flying suit to help you get into the fighter pilot mindset. An expert pilot will demonstrate and then guide you through similar manoeuvres used by WWII pilots, and you'll even be able to take the controls yourself for a bit of hands-on flight time too.
Need to Know
On arrival at the airfield you'll be greeted by your pilot before being kitted out in all the necessary gear. A safety briefing will get you up to speed before you clamber into the cockpit, and from there it's nothing but thrills as you take off, fly and land over an exciting 30 minutes in a de Havilland Tiger Moth.
