Woburn Safari Park is an award-winning attraction, home to over 80 different species of wonderful animals and now you can spend your day there, behind the scenes. Experience firsthand what life is like as an animal keeper as you join the staff and get involved in their daily tasks. Mucking out, food preparation and close encounters with the animals ' it's all in this day's work. You'll be treated to an off-road safari tour where you will likely spot rhinos, zebras and giraffes' maybe even the Przewalskis horse, which Woburn Safari Park saved from extinction. Whatever you see, you're sure to have a fabulous day at the park, getting to know the animals and the keepers.
Need to Know
On arrival at Woburn Safari Park at 09.00, you will receive a guidebook and be introduced to the keepers. You'll then begin helping them out with their daily tasks such as mucking out and food preparation for the animals at the park. Your experience will include an off-road tour of the animal reserves with an experienced ranger and an opportunity to visit the bigger animals within the park before getting hands-on experience with some of the animals living around the foot safari. At the end of your experience you will be presented with an 'Animal Keeper' certificate as a souvenir of your day and are welcome to stay in the park until closing time in order to explore all the other public areas.
