Spend your day aiding a keeper with this incredible Big Cat Ranger for a Day experience, at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation's Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. You could be mucking out the African lion's enclosures, assisting with feeding or helping with an enrichment feature: no matter what, you'll experience things you never thought possible. Not only will you get up close and personal with the cats, you'll also get to hand-feed one! Home to over 50 species, including lions, jaguars and leopards, you'll find out what the WHF are doing to preserve the future of these amazing animals. A buffet lunch is provided, and we recommend bringing your camera, as there'll be some awesome sights that you'll definitely want to share with friends!
Need to Know
On arrival at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation, you will be greeted by a friendly member of the WHF team and shown to the health and safety briefing area. Your day will start with a tour of the sanctuary and you'll then get to grips with shadowing one of the park's keepers as they do the rounds, looking after the many rare cats found at the WHF. You can help out with the cleaning and maintaining of the enclosures, as well as help with food preparation. There will be a light buffet lunch during your day and refreshments will be available throughout your experience.
