Take tea in the city just a stone's throw from Warwick Avenue Station, and enjoy sweet and savoury delicacies served in the boutique surroundings of the Colonnade Hotel. Set in the peaceful streets of Little Venice, The Colonnade is the perfect setting for an afternoon tea with a sparkling addition. Your characterful 19th century destination started life as a two private houses before being converted into a girls' boarding school in 1880, then a hospital, before being converted into a hotel in 1935. To this day, the hotel still emits its quintessentially English charm that's very much in touch with its history. You'll have the option to take your experience in the restaurant or the quiet terrace area, weather permitting. Once settled in, you'll be served a glass of Champagne each to kick proceedings off in style. Your afternoon tea menu has been personally designed by the hotel's Head Chef. So you can tuck into a selection of traditional finger sandwiches, as well as freshly-baked plain or raisin scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. As well as this, you'll enjoy a delicious assortment of homemade cakes and finish it off with your choice of speciality tea or coffee.
