Experience a heavy-duty driving day with a difference. This incredible triple-header will see you getting your hands on a fire engine, a military vehicle plus switching to the passenger side for a ride in either a Bedford 'Green Goddess' or the Alvis Stalwart. First up is the fire engine driving seat. Your instructor will talk you through the controls before you set off. With its automatic gearbox and power steering, the beast is remarkably easy to drive. Set off with 240bhp at your feet. You'll stop off to try some more complicated manoeuvres including reverse parking and the 'wall test.' Then, you'll take the controls of the Leyland DAF 45/150. Your absolute monster of a truck weighs in at just over 6 tonnes, so you'll know all about the power coming up from that huge diesel engine. Back at HQ you'll switch over to either the phenomenal Alvis Stalwart or the historic Bedford 'Green Goddess.' Each legendary machine offers something different and remarkable and is sure to put a multi-tonne cherry on top of a memorable day.
