Need to Know
On arrival you will meet the ground crew and receive a short technical and safety briefing, then it's up, up and away as you accelerate vertically into the skies. Your 6 mile helicopter flight will see you take in the sights of the stunning Scottish countryside before enjoying a home-made traditional cream tea. You can then spend the rest of the day discovering the world of aviation at the National Museum of Flight including admission to the Concorde experience. Learn all about the history of the Concorde and the race to break the sound barrier, the design and the build of the world's first supersonic passenger aircraft, what it was like to travel on this iconic aircraft as a traveller and a member of the crew and the retirement of the entire Concorde fleet. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy other exhibits including the Boeing 707 and Vulcan Bomber on display at the museum.
