In the grounds of Barony Castle youll find the must-see Great Polish Map of Scotland; a unique feature in the Scottish landscape. It is a large physical relief map of Scotland, sculpted in concrete and measuring 40m by 50m. Built over six summers between 1974 and 1979 and claimed to be the world's largest terrain relief mode, its the work of a small group of Polish craftsmen assisted by staff from the Hotel Black Barony (Barony Castle) and Polish exchange students visiting Britain. In the evening, you'll have a '56 shared food allowance to use towards the ' la carte menu, including steak on a stone, in the hotel restaurant; and the following morning, you can enjoy a tasty Scottish breakfast each.
