Take the world's tallest and, at 178m, the world's longest tunnel slide with admission to the Skyline Views and The Slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit for Two. Spiral down what is also the UK's tallest public artwork, shoot through light and dark breathing in dramatic cityscape views as you go. During your 40 second trip, you'll cruise at speeds of up to 15 miles per hour, weaving your way through the ArcelorMittal Orbit's iconic loops and curves. Build up some momentum in the corkscrewing 'bettfeder' or 'bedspring,' before finishing up your run with a 50m hurtle straight back down to earth. The Slide is the brainchild of Belgian artist Carsten Holler at the invitation of Sir Anish Kapoor, designer of the Orbit, so this is a showcase of innovation from two of the world's leading artists. Completely unique, this latest installation is yet another reason to visit Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The most exciting playground in London. Having safely touched down, you can make your way over to the Last Drop opposite the ArcelorMittal Orbit for a hot drink and cake after your exhilarating slide.
